If you do not find anything wrong in these sentences, then that’s exactly what is wrong in the these times. It is this attitude to identify every incident in light of some religious undertone. Did that bus driver think for one second that he is a “Muslim” and he is saving “Hindu” passengers and for that only he should get extra brownie points? Did that terrorist think to be a change and become “the Hindu terrorist” in a sector dominated by Muslims?
NO!
Religion is never the cause. Religion is never the identity. It is not that important. The bus driver saved all those people because that’s what humanity is. He is a human being who saved other human beings in time of danger. His religion is not the catalyst. It is an insult to him that he is being identified as a “Muslim” first before being a hero.
On the other hand, that LeT terrorist is being identified as a Hindu and being made an example that “Look, Hindus have also joined the party! Muslims cannot be blamed alone!” Completely forgetting the fact that it has nothing to do with any of those communities. Terrorism has its own convoluted agenda and it never have anything to do with religion. Religion is the veil behind which terrorism hides it’s evil face.
The point is simple- Terrorism kills, humanity saves. You might have noticed I have not used the names of the respective persons. Think about it. If you did not know the names of those people, you still would have respected or hated them based on their deeds. So, why not keep doing that?
